My name is Juan. This blog is very much a gateway into my mind, my thoughts, my views, my everything. Most of the time it will be treated as a journal of my activities, rants, and opinions.

To start off, I’d like to say I’m a genuinely nice person. I know everyone says that to make themselves feel better, but I know I’m a kind person and I can say it with confidence. I share sympathy and understanding, compassion and agreement with almost everyone. I don’t like having conflict with other people. I have the biggest patience in the world that can rarely be tested. Talk to me, and I talk back, though a bit timidly at first. Don’t worry, time breaks my shell.

I’m pretty opinionated on my blog. Right off the bat I will say I am an atheist and a liberal. I don’t let my beliefs define who I am, but rather my actions. I am tolerant and accepting of all kinds of opinions, whether they be different than mine. I can respectfully disagree with you and I hope you’d do the same. If you don’t shove your ideas and beliefs down my throat, you and I could be the best of friends.

Education is a huge part of my life. I want to go far in life and I know that education - along with dedication, will take me far. I want to be a psychiatrist, I want to be the first in my family to attend college, I want to adopt a kid, and most of all, I want to be happy.

With all of that in mind, I hope you enjoy my life’s story on this blog. Not every detail and aspect of my life will be told here; I still make the effort to have some privacy in today’s hectic world.
